Dr. Hillary Jilcott passionately believes in a preventative model of therapy and wellness by encouraging people to take action before their condition becomes chronic. A native of Eastern North Carolina, she graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2004 with a B.A. in Exercise and Sports Science, and continued her post-graduate education at Elon University, receiving her doctorate in physical therapy in 2007. She has experienced unique opportunities by spending a portion of her career working in other states as a traveling therapist. With a thirst for constantly improving her knowledge in her field, Dr. Jilcott frequently attends continuing education courses in varied subjects such as trigger point dry needling, functional movement assessment, and manual therapy courses through the Institute of Physical Art, among many others.
